Privacy Policy
BiteByte provides small, focused apps for restaurants and food service (DisplayMyMenu, Store Run, Weekly Specials, Shift Flows), plus a central account hub. This policy covers all of them.
What we collect
- Account information: your email address, name, and password (stored hashed by our authentication provider) when you create an account.
- Organization data: the content your team creates in the apps (menus, shopping lists, specials, checklists) belongs to your organization and is visible only to its members.
- Billing information: payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we keep only subscription status and plan details.
- Usage analytics: we count page views with a first-party beacon that stores no cookies and no personal identifiers. Visitor counts use an anonymized hash that rotates daily and cannot be traced back to you.
- Session cookies: used only to keep you signed in.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
- We do not read your organization's content except to operate the service.
Who processes data for us
Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), and Vercel (hosting). Each processes data only as needed to run the service.
Deleting your data
Contact us via the support page (sign in first) to delete your account or your organization's data.
